Design approach, two small words and yet nothing I can define. Why?
"Because it is too complex?" Well sort of...
Moreover it would be quite presomptious of me to think I can define design. Defining design would not even be the key. What matters most is what I understand of it and how I percieve it to make the best use I can in my design.
Throughout my learning and my acquiring of design experience, my views and understanding on design have changed dramatically. More than a change they have evolved. While gaining more experience, I have had the chance to question, my own understanding and views, which allowed me to further this same understanding. I can say quite securely that I am certain it will evolve even more as time passes and my experience increases.
At the present moment, if I was to define my design views this would be my answer: "Overwhelmed by information, tomorrow’s world needs design to organise, structure and ease the users access to information while making it aesthetically pleasing, lively and intuitive in its context. This is my role and my aim as an Graphic Information & Visual Interaction Designer."
