| | Overwhelmed by information, tomorrow's world needs design to organise, structure and ease the users access to information while making it aesthetically pleasing, lively and intuitive in its context. This is my role and my aim as a Graphic Information & Visual Interaction Designer. |

| Experience Overview | |
| | Pierre has eight years experience in Web Development and Communication. This started as a hobby after high school, but soon Pierre decided to pursue his studies in this field. While working freelance as a web designer and developer, Pierre has acquired over the years an extensive knowledge base of different languages and techniques of development. Through this work Pierre gained both conceptual and applied understanding of the media to better advice his clients and best answer their needs with the appropriate tools and solutions.
With support in design and communication, Pierre has panned his reach to further media such as online newspapers and interactive television. More recent opportunities have allowed him to work with mobile communication, creating interfaces for phones as well as web applications and services. |

| | Through both his work in design and development, Pierre has had the opportunity to work with different software packages and languages. Furthermore, he has always tried to acquaint himself with various software packages in order to broaden his knowledge of available professional tools to stay current with new technologies. With a broad knowledge of current applications, Pierre can easily make the appropriate decision on which technology best suits the work he is doing. |

| | Throughout his work experience, Pierre has had the opportunity to work as a team member. He has always benefited from team projects because he enjoys comparing and sharing ideas with others. He believes that his teamplayer skills are broad and unique since he has had the opportunity to study and work in various countries and within a multiplicity of cultures. He feels that he has acquired a fairly cosmopolitan understanding of cultural perspective and how these various views fit together at the global level. Additionaly, as a webmaster on several different projects, he has developed leadership and management abilities. These leadership skills have been utilised in extracurricular activities such as the role of student representative in both college and university. Pierre believes that all of these qualities have helped him gain a greater sense of organisation and responsibility. |
